Bronisław Baran – Deputy Mayor of the Town of Krosno

Born 14th September, 1952, married to Krystyna,
three children: Małgorzata, Magdalena and Michał

Education: graduate of Politechnika Rzeszowska (Rzeszów Technical University), mechanical engineer, Teachers Training College, postgraduate studies: education organization and management, HSE inspector, 1st degree specialization in physical education, 1st degree football instructor, school teacher and headmaster in Krosno for many years.

Professional experience:
1977 - 1982 - Krośnieńskie Huty Szkła (Krosno Glassworks – an executive position (administration and supervision),
1982 - 1984 – teacher in Primary School with Integrative Forms No 14 in Krosno,
1984 -1988 – Deputy Headmaster of Primary School with Integrative Forms No 14 in Krosno,
1988 - 2002 - Headmaster of Primary School with Integrative Forms No 14 in Krosno,
2002 - 2006 – Deputy Mayor of the Town of Krosno.
After the local government election in 2006, he took up the position of the Deputy Mayor of the Town of Krosno.

 
Sports Manager of the Year 2006 in Poland.

• member of the Board of Krośnieński Klub Sportowy Karpaty Krosno (the Karpaty Krosno Sporting Club),
• Chairman of the Board of the District School Sporting Union in Krosno,
• Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Province School Sporting Union in Krosno,
• Chairman of the Body of Referees of the Regional Football Union in Krosno,
• Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Regional Football Union in Krosno,
• Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Podkarpacki Football Union in Rzeszów,
• Delegate of the Polish Football Union in Warsaw,
• member of the Supervisory Board of the Krosno Housing Association (Krośnieńska Spółdzielnia Mieszkaniowa),
• member of the Board of the Children’s Friends Society in Krosno,
• representative of an associated school in the Polish Committee of UNESCO.
