Piotr Przytocki – Mayor of the Town of Krosna
B. 15th August, 1957 in Krosno, married to Elżbieta,
father of Andrzej, Maciej and Grzegorz.
Education – Master Engineer of Mechanics, (1982) graduated from the Tadeusz Kościuszko Cracow University of Technology, Institute of Tool Engineering; (2001) passed the state examination for the candidates for the supervisory boards’ members of the State Treasury-owned companies.
Career:
- 1981-1983 design/construction engineer in Krakowska Fabryka Kabli (Cracow Cable Manufacture Plant),
- 1983-1989 design/construction engineer in Ośrodek Badawczo-Rozwojowy "ERG" Jasło ("ERG" Jasło Research and Development Centre) in Jasło,
- 1989-1990 Deputy Manager in Przedsiębiorstwo Ochrony Środowiska "Salus" Sp. z o.o. („Salus” Natural Environment Protection Enterprise, Ltd) in Krosno,
- 1990-2002 Chairman of the Management Board of Przedsiębiorstwo Produkcyjno-Usługowe "Tetrix" Sp. z o.o. (“Tetrix” Manufacture and Service Enterprise, Ltd) in Krosno,
- 2002 - 2006 Mayor of the Town of Krosno,
- In 2006 municipal election re-elected the Mayor of the Town of Krosno.

- In 1994 - 2004 – Deputy-Chairman and Chairman of Podkarpacka Izba Gospodarcza (the Podkarpacie Economy Chamber),
- Member of the Regional Management Board of Polski Komitet Pomocy Społecznej (the Polish Committee for Social Aid) in Krosno,
- Chairman of the Community Board of the John Paul II Podkarpacie Province Hospital in Krosno,
- Chairman of the Convent of the State Higher Vocational School in Krosno,
- Member of the Chapter of Podkarpacka Nagroda Gospodarcza (Podkarpacie Business Award) and Konkurs Przedsiębiorstwo Fair Play (Fair Play Enterprise Contest),
- Member of the Community Board at the Academy of Mining and Metallurgy in Cracow.
Achievements:
- 2005 – the King Casimir the Great statuette – an award for the investment achievements,
- 2005 – statuette for the Local Government Structural Funds Leader,
- 2005 – participation in the scholarship funded by the US Department of State as part of the International Visitors Leadership programme,
- 2006 – statuette of Podkarpacki Klub Biznesu (the Podkarpacie Business Club) – an award for the investment activity with the use of the European Union funds,
- 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007 - Podkarpacka Nagroda Samorządowa (the Podkarpacie Self-Government Award) – a distinction awarded to the leaders of the local governments in the Podkarpacie Province,
- 2008 – stauette of Narodowy Konkurs Ekologiczny ,,Przyjaźni Środowisku” („Environment Friendly” National Ecological Contest) – awarded by Narodowy Fundusz Ochrony Środowiska (the National Fund for the Natural Environment Protection) and Narodowa Rada Ekologiczna (the National Ecological Board) in the following categories: “Samorząd Przyjazny Środowisku" (“Environmentally Friendly Municipality”) and "Gmina Przyjazna Środowisku" (“Environmentally Friendly District”),
- 2008 - Podkarpacka Nagroda Samorządowa (the Podkarpacie Province Municipality Award) for the best mayor in the Podkarpackie Province and for the best website.
Honorary titles:
- 2003 – prize-winner of Złota Księga Politechniki Krakowskiej (Cracow Technical University Gold Book),
- 2006 – honorary inhabitant of the Podhale region,
- 2007 – awarded the Knight’s Cross of Merit of the Republic of Hungary.
