Investment industrial park around the Krosno airfield

 

Basic information
The site is included into the Special Economic Zone "EURO- PARK" Mielec.
Investors who have been issued a permit for economic activity in the zone area and will invest at least 100 thousand EUR are automatically granted the right to corporate income tax exemptions. The maximum amount of corporate tax exemption is 50% of the total expenditures on new investment for large entrepreneurs, 60% for medium size and 70% for small size entrepreneurs.

Construction-related restrictions
There is a restriction on the height of the buildings up to 7 m due to the direct vicinity of the airfield.
The maximum share of the overbuilt area in the entire property/plot area is 60%.

Transport/road connections
At present access road to the site is 6 m wide. A new summary road 7 m wide, with asphalt concrete pavement will be built in 2012 as a part of a new ring road of Krosno.
National road No 28 is ca. 3 km away from the site.
The nearest railway station is located ca. 4 km away from the site.
The nearest international airports are situated in: Rzeszów – Jaisonka, 70 km away from the site; Kraków – Balice – 180 km away from the site.

Infrastructure / industrial and municipal facilities

 

The town is implementing the land development project entitled: “The Area / Land Comprehensive Development for Prospective Industrial Investments to Increase the Attractiveness of the Town of Krosno” (“Zwiększenie atrakcyjności miasta of Krosno poprzez kompleksowe przygotowanie terenów pod inwestycje”).

The project objectives comprise providing the complete infrastructure / industrial and municipal facilities to the prospective investment industrial park in the closest neighbourhood of the Krosno airfield, including:  power network, gas grid, water-pipe network, sewerage system and rain water drainage system, as well as an access road and a freight yard for truck and lorries.

The feasibility study stipulates the completion of the investment project operations by 2012.

A part of the site will have direct access to the macadam-paved runway on the Krosno airfield.
