Jewish Cemetery (Kirkut) (ul. Goszczyńskiego)
The former Jewish Cemetery founded probably at the end of the nineteenth century, concurrently with the Jewish commune in Krosno. Earlier burials of Jews from Krosno cana be found in Korczyna and in Rymanów.
After destruction of the synagogue and the Jewish commune archives during the World War II operations, the Jewish cemetery is a sole permanent trace of the residence and activities of Israelites in Krosno. Only 200 macebas/macevas (tombstones) survived in various conditions. The monument of Bernard Munz of 1930, resembling a broken apple tree, is the most valuable.
