Thanks to Swiss funding, the fleet of Krosno’s municipal public transport operator, MKS, will be expanded by 8 new low-floor, zero-emission buses. The purchase agreement between the City of Krosno and EV Motors Sp. z o.o. from Lublin was signed on 21 August.

The Mayor of Krosno has announced an open call for proposals for the implementation of a public task in the field of health protection and promotion entitled “Support in Coping with Stress”. A total of PLN 75,000 has been allocated for the implementation of the task in 2026. The implementation period is planned from 1 October to 31 December 2026.

A modern Community Activity Centre will be built next to the historic Kaczkowski Palace. It will be a space designed for residents, non-governmental organisations, senior citizens and people in need of support. The investment will be implemented as part of the project “Our Krosno – Green, Entrepreneurial and Co-managed with Residents”.

Two calls for proposals concerning the implementation of health protection and promotion initiatives have been concluded. The initiatives will be carried out under the grant fund within Activity 5 of the project “Our Krosno: Green, Entreprising and Co-Governed with Residents”. Krosno residents will be able to benefit from new, free-of-charge activities supporting both physical and mental health.
